Influential American post-hardcore band Saosin has released their video for “Racing Toward a Red Light,” the second song to debut off their upcoming album Along the Shadow, out on May 20 via Epitaph. This is their first new material since 2009 and first ever full-length album with original singer, Anthony Green. View the video after the jump.
Saosin has announced they will release their first new material since 2009 and first ever full-length album with original singer Anthony Green, Along the Shadow, on May 20 via Epitaph. They've also put out a new song/video, "The Silver String" that you can watch below.
A lot of hype is hovering around Saosin's new album and they've just released a tiny teaser to it. You can listen to the teaser below and tell us what you think! Just this 30 second glimpse of a song already makes this new album sound like Circa Survive's newest. Saosin have posted an update on Facebook regarding their future.
“I also wanted to say, as far as Saosin goes, nothing’s changing. We will still be writing new music and working towards a great future. Saosin is a group of brothers that all have different things, projects and schedules going on. This will just be one more schedule to work around. Luckily, quite a bit of The Used schedule is parallel with Circa Survive. So possibly, you can see Anthony play with Circa Survive and me with The Used in the same month. I hope to see a lot of you!”
Quinn Allman, guitarist of The Used, will be going on a year-long hiatus and replaced with Saosin's member, Justin Shekoski. To read the bands official statement, as well as their touring information, read below.
Anthony Green's surprise two song Christmas EP came out to the delight of fans. Green's soft, soothing voice echoes beautifully in the spaces where his acoustic guitar strumming doesn't.
