Continuing the trend of bands breaking up and getting back together, Thrice have returned.
Eddie Breckinridge, known from his time in the seminal post-hardcore act Thrice, has joined Angels and Airwaves as their new bassist. Eddie is replacing ex-bassist Matt Watcher, whom left the band in June to focus on his family. The announcement came via frontman Tom DeLonge's Instagram account with the photo above, with the following caption:
"We welcome Ed Breckinridge to the gang- Formerly of the post-hardcore band #Thrice, he is a perfect fit for this group of punk rock Gymnasts. A daily surfer, and skateboarder .... And shredder from Orange County, we look forward to his moves on stage.#NowWeHave2Ponytails"
The band is currently in the studio at work on their next LP, which currently slated to be released this Halloween.
