Twin Atlantic have just released an exclusive live video of the song “Ghost of Eddie” on Pac Sun. The performance comes from the band’s recent sold out show at the O2 Academy in their hometown of Glasgow, Scotland.

Last week the band premiered two exclusive video performances on tattoo culture site, Inked Mag. One of the live clips featured a performance of the band’s current single “Free”, also from the O2 Academy performance, as well as an acoustic clip of the song "Edit Me."

Twin Atlantic’s critically-lauded debut full-length, Free, was recorded with legendary producer Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies, Jimmy Eat World). Free, the follow up to the well-received debut mini-album, Vivarium, expands upon the band’s signature sound, melding angular riffs with energetic choruses. Explosive and hard charging, yet melodic and thoughtful, the tracks cut deep and ring true to the listener, leaving a lasting impression. The album is currently available digitally in the U.S., and will be in stores on March 13.

Twin Atlantic are currently on a U.S. tour with You Me At Six and The Swellers. The band will also be opening for Blink-182 on a UK tour in June. Tour dates for the band’s current tour are as follows:

Feb 2nd Charlotte NC, The Casbah
Feb 3rd Atlanta GA, Masquerade
Feb 4th Orlando FL, The Social
Feb 6th Houston TX, Warehouse
Feb 7th San Antonio TX, White Rabbit
Feb 8th Dallas TX, The Door

TWIN ATLANTIC will return to the U.S in late January as direct support on the You Me At Six/The Swellers co-headline tour, along with openers We Are The Ocean.  The tour kicks off January 24 in Cleveland, OH and wraps on Valentine’s Day in Los Angeles, CA.

The Glasgow rock outfit recently finished a run on a sold out U.S. tour as support for AWOLNATION and Middle Class Rut and are currently back in the UK on a sold out headline trek that ends on December 12.

Dubbed “your new favourite band” on the cover of this week’s Kerrang!, TWIN ATLANTIC’s debut album Free was also named the #9 Album of the Year by Rock Sound Magazine who said they made THE British all-out rock record of 2011. Additionally, their latest single has officially been added to BBC Radio 1’s A-List rotation.

TWIN ATLANTIC recently announced a groundbreaking new promotion in partnership with popular photo social networking site Instagram.  The ‘Twinstigram Project’ launched on December 2nd and is the first of its kind.  The project pulls in fans’ Instagram uploads tagged with the hashtag #freetwinatlantic and pulls them all into their own grid allowing fans to interact with their own photo socially and share it with friends via e-mail, Facebook and Twitter. Once enough fans have uploaded their photos, exclusive content will be unlocked, such as a FREE download of the Hadouken! remix of the song ‘Make A Beast Of Myself’, very special acoustic videos and more. As the fans’ pictures continue to grow, the photos will be pulled into a mosaic image of the ‘Make A Beast Of Myself’ single cover of the Virgin Mary which will be made into a lithograph composed of all the fans’ images.  This very special litho will be available for presale during the promotion, which can be found at www.freetwinatlantic.com.

The album is currently available digitally in the U.S., and will be in stores Spring 2012.

The video for the title track and current U.S. single Free was directed by Howard Greenhalgh (Soundgarden’s Black Hole Sun) and can be viewed here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TAJ_be8S8A.

MAYDAY PARADE CONFIRMS NATIONWIDE FALL HEADLINING TOUR IN SUPPORT OF SELF-TITLED ALBUM OCTOBER 4 - AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER NOW

Mayday Parade has just confirmed a nationwide headlining tour in support of their highly-anticipated third full-length album, the eponymous Mayday Parade, out October 4 but available to preorder on Amazon NOW.

The Noise Tour powered by Journeys, kicks off October 13 on the East Coast, and features support from We Are The In Crowd, There For Tomorrow, You Me At Six and The Make. In anticipation of their new release, the band unveiled the new single, “Oh Well, Oh Well” via Alternative Press, and garnered praise from MTV’s Buzzworthy Blog, stating “unlike other pop punk groups, Mayday Parade takes a more holistic approach to songwriting, an approach clearly at the foreground of their new group-penned single, ‘Oh Well, Oh Well.’” The song is available to purchase on iTunes.

Co-produced by Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount, Mayday Parade marks a return to their songwriting roots; the entire album was self-written in a collaborative effort by the five band mates. The 12-song collection transpired through careful introspection and it echoes the musicians’ maturation over the two years since their second album, Anywhere But Here. The band chose to pen each of the songs themselves, making the album perhaps their most personal to date, complete with relatable lyrics and their undeniable charm.

Mayday Parade first burst onto the scene with their 2007 debut A Lesson in Romantics which received immense praise from critics and fans alike. AbsolutePunk claimed it was sure to become “one of your most played [albums] of the summer.” It went on to sell more than 170,000 copies and reached the Top Ten on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Mayday Parade is vocalist/piano Derek Sanders, bassist Jeremy Lezno, guitarists Alex Garcia and Brooks Betts and drummer/vocalist Jake Bundrick.
